The SeaBlocker Marine Windshield is an after-market fold-down windshield designed to enhance essentially any center console boat with a t-top. This type of boat looks great at the dock and while underway in calm, warm conditions. But T-tops offer no protection from wind, rain and spray coming from in front of the vessel. The SeaBlocker is designed to block the elements from coming into the helm area enabling you to fully maximize your t-top. Ask a soaked crew after a wet run to the fishing grounds if they enjoyed their ride and the answer would probably be no. Or how about those times you take your family for a cruise and the breeze picks up knocking spray into the boat? That will put a “damper” on the kid’s day. Now you can enjoy a dry comfortable ride with the brand new, patented SeaBlocker Marine Windshield. The SeaBlocker is made from a high strength impact resistant material with superior clarity mounted on pivoting stainless steel straps. The innovative stainless steel mounting hardware attaches directly to the T-top poles without any drilling or permanent modifications to the t-top. The original strength and design of your t-top will not be altered or compromised in any way.
The SeaBlocker  installs in minutes, requires no special maintenance or care, and will last for years. Once installed the SeaBlocker can be deployed in the “up” position for maximum protection from the elements or in fair weather is folded down to allow air to flow through the boat. It only takes about 5 seconds to switch the SeaBlocker  from the up to down position.
Previously if boat owners wanted a full windshield they were required to have their boat fitted by a marine upholsterer for a custom soft vinyl “windshield” that laced or snapped onto the t-top frame. These were often difficult and time consuming to install then would sag and wrinkle over time. Trying to see through those at night would be difficult at best. Throw in some rain and glare and you can’t see through them at all. Once installed, these soft windshields could not easily be taken down if they were not needed. The solution many people used was to go back to the upholsterer and have zippers installed at additional expense and downtime for the vessel. These zippers needed additional care so they wouldn’t jam as they aged and don’t try to force them or you could rip the whole thing! If you were lucky you would get a few good seasons out of this arrangement before these soft windshields would eventually get cloudy or yellow under the extreme sun and salt conditions of the marine environment.

The SeaBlocker  solves all of these problems by using a rigid high-strength polycarbonate material that folds using a transparent silicone hinge. This windshield is then mounted to your T-top using stainless steel mounting straps that require no drilling into poles or other permanent modifications. When you want the SeaBlocker  in the up position simply use the hook and loop straps on the top half of the device to fasten it to the upper bars on your t-top. It can be switched from the up to down position in just a couple of seconds and you’re on your way!

The ease of use and versatility are the true magic of the SeaBlocker . At the dock or when trolling it’s nice to have a little breeze in the boat so have the SeaBlocker  in the “lowered” position. Raise it when underway and you are protected from wind and spray.

When it starts to rain and you need to get back to the hill in a hurry, put the SeaBlockerup and put the hammer down! Driving WOT through the rain in total comfort…you’ll consider it fully paid for after even one episode like that!

The SeaBlocker does more than just protect the person at the helm. It creates a large pocket of calm air all the way to the back of the boat allowing for several people to benefit from it’s effect, even on a small vessel. During sea trials it was also discovered that there was an area of “dead air” immediately in front of the SeaBlocker/console where the front cooler seat is commonly found. As long as there was no spray coming over the bow the people sitting in this area were enjoying a calm area with little wind and a quiet ride as the SeaBlocker blocked much of the engine noise coming from the rear of the vessel.

The SeaBlocker is probably one of the most economical and effective ways to enhance the comfort of your center console…and it looks cool too!
